The Mumford Mustangs design represents the imported powder blue limestone block and exquisite Art Deco styling established in September 1949. The Mumford Mustangs was named after Detroit School Board member and Detroit Edison treasurer Samuel C. Mumford. The Mumford design showcases the old english “ M”, and the Mustang logo inside the Beverly Hills sign. The logo pays homage to the Mumford Alumni Jerry Bruckheimer that directed the Beverly Hills movie with Eddie Murphy seen wearing the signature Mumford tShirt!
